She has a wonderful heart to host this very special food event for all of us foodies to come together with our best recipes for the month. I thought that it was a little ironic that the best recipe I choose for the month, Romaine Hearts and Arugula Salad with Minced Beet, Pears, Pistachios, Avocado, Cucumber and Honey-Balsamic Vinaigrette, is in an entry called Why write recipes when you can just cook? It’s something I’d like to share with everyone, because it shows how I cook for the majority of the time; writing a couple of recipes, but cooking mostly on intuition.
